Litter Pickers

St Martin’s School have a proud history of litter picking in the Mill Hill area. We are delighted to continue this important aspect of our community involvement with the Mill Hill Residents Association. St Martin’s pupils engage in litter picking in the local area from the Broadway to the park; helping to protect the environment.

We recognise that it is important to clean our local area; the park, streets and common areas.  Litter picking is a wonderfully fun social occasion which helps the children to learn about their environment, encouraging them to dispose of their rubbish correctly to protect flora, fauna and wildlife and also allows them to ‘give back’ in a very real way.
