Miss Talya joined the St Martin’s team in April 2019. Talya is a remarkable young lady who leads ‘Storytime with Talya.’ A small group of EYFS children meet with Talya regularly, to hear the retelling of famous fairy tales and stories.
Talya is so excited to share her enthusiasm and enjoyment of stories with others. She has learning difficulties and impaired vision which mean that she has to work hard to learn and become fluent with the stories in order to tell them to our pupils. We are very grateful for her time and dedication and delighted that the children enjoy these sessions very much.
We are thankful to the charity, Kisharon, for working with us to foster such a long term connection and bring this wonderful experience to our children.
